Yea the numbers can be deceiving

Believe she'll have a Keysha Cole like career trajectory
Nothing deceiving about it she’s a top 100 most listened to artist among all genres and artists new and old

Definitely not Amerie status :mjlol:

50 Cent Stan’s will argue you down and say he is still musically relevant today because he sold out the Taliban Arena in Pakistan and the Gorbachev Stadium in Kazakhstan on back to back nights

How can he not be in the top 100??:why:

G-Unit Stans are in shambles :mjcry:

This.

And I'm not understanding how the stance of "Oh, she had 150 weeks on the charts and an album on its way to multi-platinum" lines up with barely making a list of 100 most streamed artists YTD when

1) said artist's debut is still on the charts

2) said artist just dropped an album less than a year ago

In 2002, Amerie possibly would've been in the bottom tier of a similar list. And even then, if we just looked at R&B artists from 2002:

Alicia Keys
Ashanti
Tweet
Mary J Blige
Usher

^^^ off the tip of my head, these are the R&B artists that impacted during that year. Similarly, these are the R&B artists on the list higher than Summer:

Beyonce
Chris Brown
Rihanna
Brent Faiyaz
Khalid
Frank Ocean
Weeknd

I don’t understand your argument.

U said she was about as successful as Amerie in 2002.

She’s a top 100 streaming artist new and old across all genres. Her debut first weeks crush Amerie’s on both her albums. She is more successful by literally any metric. For a woman today Summer Walker, Jhene Aiko and SZA are who they listen to and see themselves in they love them bytches. How can you be proven wrong again and again and still double down again and again this time trying to use the accomplishment of being 89th on a list of top 100 streaming acts of the years as if it’s a bad thing. :mjlol: :dahell:

True....but can you tell me why Jay Z isn't on there....has nothing to do with him not dropping a current album....Kanye on there....Eminem on there....why not Jay Z??....

Kanye is a streaming giant. Eminem has dropped an album since Jay Z has and has been out performing Jay commercially since the 90's.

Also, Jay Z has music that isn't available on Spotify, YouTube, or Apple.

Because she is about as successful as Amerie in 2002. And I wouldn't exactly say those numbers exactly crush Amerie's. Breh, women were listening to Amerie in 2002 and were seeing themselves in her too so much so that you still have women who hate Beyonce because they think Beyonce jacked Amerie's entire look and style.

Amerie debuted in 2002. There wasn't a big feature on her singles aside from remixes that weren't eligible to chart. Before she dropped an album, the only other place you would've heard Amerie is on "Rule" from Stillmatic. Compare that to Summer Walker breh.

How would this list prove that Jay Z has no replay value? Why are we singling Jay Z out? Furthermore, I answered your questions with facts. Do you even know what juelzing means?

Said the numbers are deceiving because while she is on list, Summer isnt well known outside of blk women, the under 25 crowd

For example she is on the list and not Lizzo. But I would still argue Lizzo is the bigger star. Has top 10 hits. A diamond record I believe
