I gotta be reality had he took the best songs and made it into a EP. I would have thought this was his sharpest work in 4 years. I think the stink of the ghostwriting accusations has crept up into his music and everything he has to say on this album feels flat and forced. His flows are actually good and the production I think is still a step up from 'Too Late' . but I just feel there is a lingering disingenuuity to his lyrics. Like he has no soul and I'm not saying this because he's a mixed Canadian but even say Justin beiber managed to step forward as an artist by just cutting the bullshyt. Drake reveled in it . I'll listen to the album a couple of more times because its catchy. But this is album where most people are going to say Drake this is the point where Drake falls off.

At first I was bored but after a few more plays it has it's moments.

Production quality is high af but overall it's underwhelming. Everytime he says a hot bar I wonder who wrote it now.

That is a perfect way of putting it. I actually do like this album more than the majority seems to, but knowing he has ghostwriters does mess with experience...like your always wondering who's the person drake is imitating when spitting the rhymes. Kind of makes me ignore him on a song like Weston Road where I catch myself more focused on the Mary J sample than whatever Drake is "reciting".

It's just different. I can still listen to it but Drakes music resonated with me more when I thought the words were really coming from him. I honestly did believe he was writing all his raps b4 he got exposed

I think this is one of his weaker projects, but it's not trash, at least not in comparison to all his other albums. It's in the same style. Better than Nothing Was the Same, tbh.

As far as Drake projects post-Comeback Season:
