lol.. why you gotta be 30+ tho???..
I always say thats what separates the younger generation from the older. Young mufukkas cannot appreciate anything not current..

Not true. Nothing I've heard from him in passing has made me want to go back and listen to his catalogue. I've revisted 90's hip hop even though most of it was released before I was really old enough to be into hip hop.
Sam Cooke got my fave song of all time![]()
I ain't a 30+ niqqa. I can't say I've ever played a Big Daddy Kane track in my life.

...and they think that's cool, too, like, it’s rebellious and/or otherwise “hip” to disregard history.
It’s sad that those within the younger generation don’t realize that if you don’t know your history you can’t really advance as a culture or race or whatever. Nah instead these nikkas be like “don’t nobody care about that old ass nikka” or “he’s old and bitter and just hating” when a pioneer or legend gives their solicited opinion…..they’ll have their SAME ASS banal platitudes ready too, on some “he’s just hating because he’s irrelevant and [insert young rapper] is getting money…”
shyt is getting monotonous and is incredibly ignorant...and what's worse is, these dudes REVEL in that ignorance, like taking a stance against anything not current is laudable.
