Smokin Rider
I been official
Drakebots taking an astronomical amount of L's
The diss songs Kendrick dropped froze the world and it spread like wildfire. It’s just that the mainstream world caught wind of Drake getting his ass handed to him. That elevated everything to another level.
Exactly
Also add in the fact that Not Like Us is just simply a great song. Mustard made the perfect beat. Kendrick wrote the perfect verses. He dropped the song at the perfect time. He and Dave Free shot the perfect video.
The timing was just perfect .
Damn how many of their pathetic narratives have been shut down since the beef? It's like every Drake move turned into a L for him and his fans![]()
The very same night Twitter was fll of people putting the song on random clips of people dancing; instant impactfukk Cuniff but this is what I wanted to see. Sounds like the judge saying hold on playa, stay awhile and take this L.
People rewrite history with ease but just about everyone remembers when NLU dropped and the immediate impact. I was hearing that shyt bumping from cars well into the fall. And it's post-SB revival seems to be the product of a new demographic of white people discovering the song for the first time. I still have Ether and No Vaseline as my favorites but it's clear that shyt is gonna go down as the most consequential and greatest diss of all time.
i have a theory on how this happened
and how really this was posed to happen years ago
but kendrick used both drake & umg to his advantage
made an example out that man and used that shyt to catapult himself into uncharted territory and got paid like crazy
like i said before. its a reason why umg aint know about gnx til a couple hours before it was released
kenny the goat![]()
Hours after it dropped Ross went on live at a pool party and they were playing it.The very same night Twitter was fll of people putting the song on random clips of people dancing; instant impact
You don’t have to do this. You aren’t being paid. You can just shut up and let shyt play out. I understand the arguments and even I’m doing that. This case isn’t even all that interesting from a legal standpoint aside from the fact that if Drake were to win on the merits and not through settlement - it would mean the end of competitive hip hop and would open the door for anything a rapper says about public figure - including politicians - to be used against them. What Drake is withdrawing (we wont know if he will till april 16): paragraphs 127–130 that specifically alleged -
- Whistleblower was paid $2500 by someone tied to Interscope to run streams.
- That UMG+Interscope used fake Spotify streams to juice Not Like Us numbers.
Whats NOT being withdrawn (and still in the case) -
- Accusations of pay for play radio payments in New York & elsewhere.
- Alleged undisclosed payments to promoters & influencers to drive exposure.
- Full deceptive business practices claim under GBL § 349.
- Accuses UMG of misleading consumers, using payola and artificially inflating streams

Anyone rooting for this dude to win this case is basically saying fukk hip hop.
