Lmfao it was the most promoted album of the last 6 months...
it's undeniable. Personal preferences aside, that's his most enduring and successful work. When it's all said and done, 2 of the 5 longest charting albums of all time will be GKMC and Take Care.
Promoted and talked about are 2 different things.Lmfao it was the most promoted album of the last 6 months...
But he had a rollout...............Promoted and talked about are 2 different things.
You didn't see an actual rollout til this month.
Chart success doesn’t equal classic status. It can be PART of it for sure. But there are tangibles of a classic album that Take Care clearly lacks. Its overly long, with clear filler in the middle portion, not to mention that Drake as the main artist is hilariously (and now ironically) upstaged on his own album by both Kendrick and The Weeknd.
Its not a classic. Drake’s one and only classic body of work is So Far Gone. Which DID, for better or worse, shift the culture of rap music irrevocably. Its a project that will go down in history as the perfect scion of what Kanye West started with 808’s and Heartbreak.
It was IG and all the blog reposting it out of clout. Drake only posted to IG.Lol at his fans saying it had no promo![]()
Im gonna leave this here … nikkaz telling me 250k of an R&B album is a flop.
GNX by Kendrick Lamar to become the fastest hip-hop album in history to surpass the 2 billion streams mark
And he's doing it with only 12 tracks. No promotion, didn't even include Not Like Us on that album.
Go back hiding in ur momma basement, Crodie.
