Drake's bloated 21-track album aimed at gaming the streaming system to move 250K first week

Your posts in drake album thread and amount definitely give off drake stan vibes.

No one says drake didn’t have big numbers in past. It’s that his image has taken hit since beef and numbers are dropping. He also just hasn’t put out a hit in a while.

He’s not like Kendrick where he’ll sometimes make music that isn’t for charts. His sole purpose of his music is to chart. No deep themes, meaning.
Drake didnt reach for any hit on 2 of his 3 last projects lol. honesly nevermind? Her loss? no pop for radio songs on either even tho they both had hits...honestly nevermind was a house album and had a street song as a single

and no drake isnt even in my top 10 all time as a RAPPER kendrick is, just this site has turned me into a drake stan because no one is objective and theres so much dik sucking its insane so you end playing devils advocate cuz the music itself is good

248K with 21 songs. So if it was 12 songs how much would he sell? I had Drake at 350K first week :wow:

I see so many posters complaining about "bots" but they still argue with same bots? Nap is the biggest bot on this site and I just put him on ignore and kept it moving.

Decent numbers but more importantly, this album won't have any legs

Flop for his standards

21 track album debuting at 249,000 units
GNX with 12 tracks on its 12th week with 247,000 units

Drake now copping pleas saying this was the “warm up.”

That nicca’s soul is hurt right now.
:heh:
This was an R&B album, not a rap album. His non-rap projects have always sold less (Honestly, Nevermind did 204K, Dark Lane Demo Tapes did 223K). 249K for an R&B collab tape with no bundles is solid. Comparing it to Kendrick’s 12th-week sales is a reach—two different situations.

Without selling any physical albums let alone for 4.99 on his first week like the PEDO did :picard:

Drake wouldn’t need to “warm up” if he was cooking right now. Drake knows he is ice cold and shooting bricks
Drake has called projects ‘warm-ups’ before—like Dark Lane Demo Tapes in 2020, which set up Certified Lover Boy. This is nothing new, just part of his rollout strategy.

album length has nothing to do with streams

Directly from billboard itself...

"When these already high-profile records finally drop, most fans rush to listen to every song, and in doing so, they do more good for the artists than many realize. If one listener sticks around for all 22 songs on Drake’s latest album, they have added more plays to the total than if the record (or playlist project or mixtape) a was only 10 songs long. It only takes just over 68 people to listen to Drake’s new release to count as one “sale,” whereas a 10-song collection would require 150 people to stick with it all the way through"

In other words, Aubrey is a stat padding pedophile :umad: .....all them streaming records as fake as his accent:umad:

If longer albums make streaming records ‘fake,’ then you’d have to discredit Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, and every other major artist who benefits from the same system. Billboard changed the rules—Drake just adapted better than most. The numbers are real because people are actually streaming his music. You can dislike him, but dismissing his success isn’t a real argument.
