Drake's voice has more charisma than QM.

if QM is serious about this rap shyt, he better work on his delivery. Then again, who knows anymore? Rap game is so trash, and trash pops all the time. I just know I can't bump this

I don't see it man. Drake voice doesn't have any charisma to me. He literally sounds like he is talking on most of his rap songs. Drake sounds like he reading lyrics someone else wrote when he raps. Which makes sense since that is exactly what he does

his voice aint so much the problem, imo.. dudes got good tracks..

its just that people want him to be something hes not.. his last mixtape & WDNG CRSHRS were both flames.. alot of folks just slept on em..

:whew:

:ohlawd:

:damn:

the whole voice argument, is actually funny.. reminds me of the exact same thing folks said about Sauce Money, when speaking about him & Jay-Z back in the day..

The last mixtape I downloaded from him was cool but to me he's in this weird spot vocally. His voice/delivery isn't quite as laid back as say a Currensy but when he tries to put emphasis on certain bars it comes out half way. Not expecting him to be like DMX and over stress syllables in bars but to me there is a spot between Currensy and DMX heh.

It's true people want him to be something he is not. I think it is hard to listen to his music and not hear Drake's voice on some of these songs. That's the listeners fault (myself included) but it's not easy to ignore when so much of the last project was his mannerisms and his coaching (QM)

Drake uses the same voice what are you talking about? Drake copies EVERYTHING about his style. His lyrics, flow, and sound of voice

He has no energy or charisma. No star power at all really. Drake obviously copied the flows, that's the reason reference tracks are even made, but the cadence/tone of voice, energy, charisma, and confidence is way different.

QM will never be a star, he was best suited being a ghostwriter for Drake, he should stick to a similar role and make shyt pop behind the scenes on the business side.

He can write some catchy shyt, but his performance of it just lacks, and if it's this bad in the studio I can only imagine how bad it would be live which is a big part of being one of the bigger names in rap today.

This song is food. Drake would've swagged all over it.. such a shame.. I feel like Quentin might blow sooner or later. All he needs is the right song

Drake will probably switch the sound on his new album.

He probably won't need qm this go round.

Plus there's too much smoke surrounding his name now.

That whole "If You're...." album had this type of sound. So I doubt he does it again.

Yep...

People don't realize that they are conditioned to like a "voice" based on countless hours of programing,,,
