His publishing numbers are less than Nicki Minaj. But his music gets more radio spins. Has been licensed by more commercials, has more sales etc.

It really makes you wonder why the highest selling rapper today isn't getting that much money for his publishing. I mean, either Birdman is finessing Drake something serious, or multiple people have their hands in his pocket due to contributions.

This is why I think it's great if you're a rapper that knows how to produce, because like J. Cole, you can save a lot of money while being in complete control of how your projects sound. Drake's numbers should be way higher than what it is.
