First off, there were 91 writers on drakes latest release. I know this doesn't count for this list, but you see where it's going. He uses a lot of writers

This isn't a guess, an assumption, made up bullshyt. I know everything is digital now, but check the credits of any of his albums. There's A LOT of writers on every album. Even if you get paid zero dollars up front, you get your publishing


Then realize how many companies/people are involved with drake. J prince and his son, Motown, young money/Wayne, cash money/baby/slim, universal music group



So if he drops a hit. First off too you splitting 50% with the producer. The other 50 is then split between every writer on the song. Then the labelS get paid. Then you get paI'd


Swift and Adele don't have 10 writers a song and they only have 1 label
