Father Time is right on the doorstep of this squad and the younger players simply haven’t stepped out to help fill that void.

They’ve had a grueling schedule to start the season, with a ridiculous amount of B2Bs, while being on the road, so all these bumps have been amplified because of it.

But the reality is, there really isn’t a whole lot they can do to stop nature taking its course. They’re simply too old and their window closed years ago. The pace of the game today, the ever-increasing depth of talent in the game today, the mileage players have to cover in the game today, it’s simply not in the least bit accommodating to teams who’re over the hill. No amount of commitment to winning is going to change that.

They had a historic run, but now it’s over.
So should they have a firesale?

NBA ain't Built for dynasties anymore

Haven't had a repeat in almost a decade.

Getting a back to back or 2 in 3 years will probably be the new "dynasty"
Injuries 4 me are to blame for this honestly.

2021 - AD and Lebron injured Lakers dont repeat

2022 - Middleton Injured

2025 - Tatum Injured

Not much they can do. It's a team full of old dudes and non NBA players
yep

their young guys suck. The rookie will richards is cool, but Kuminga, Podz and Quinten Post aint it. not to mention the other bums. Seth Curry and Melton aren't gonna make much of a difference. It's a janky roster filled with a million guards and no frontcourt depth, still dependent on steph running football routes to create advantages and scoring 30ppg to be an effective offense

Chet Holmgren had 100/100/100 shooting splits against them last night. No joke, that lanky ass nikka shot 100/100/100
