Draymond is horrible on Inside The NBA (and TV/podcasting in general)

Had similar thoughts watching him last night on the show. Dude is awful. He always seems like he wants to dominate the conversation and because he’s won his rings - every insight he gives is like “I been there done that, listen to me.” Like he ain’t have Steph and KD carrying his ass :stopitslime: Particularly the way he tried to get at Jayson Tatum.

He like “Hey Jayson, no one cares that you’ve made ECFs. That’s not enough and probably why you’re not getting any MVP considerations. What do you think?” Jayson a coo nikka and slipped around the dumb ass question but what kind of shyt is that to ask one of your peers on live TV? Not only that, Embiid has won MVP without getting past the second round so there’s a hole in his dumb ass logic.

Why does Inside the NBA want this goofy nikka on the show? He isn’t likeable or funny enough to mesh with the guys

He's there kinda for the same reason why Shaq was originally brought on: to be petty, but at least to a lot of people, Shaq is likeable. Unless you're a die hard Warriors fan, nothing about Draymond is endearing. You can see Shaq be a goofball and it's fine. Draymond's the type of guy to challenge dikk Bavetta to a race like Barkley did, but trip him before the finish line.

TNT and ESPN both trying to create younger versions of Charles Barkley.

TNT has Draymond as the opinionated and controversial star like Chuck was as a player and ESPN has Kendrick as the unpolished and country dude with no filter like TNT Chuck.

But neither of them are likable and they don’t have the chemistry with Kenny and Ernie so it doesn’t work

It's so weird that they added him. People love the TNT crew as is so why add a habitual line stepper that is hated by every fanbase except one? Hell, a lot Warrior fans seem to be getting fed up with his bullshyt too.
He has no insight, he's not funny, and he's looks stupid up there with his mouth open :hhh:

kind of a referendum on hoops personalities. Shaq and Barkley are 1 of 1's. You can't replicate them.

Even LeBron would suck in a setting like inside the NBA. It's not for everyone, but it's getting harder to find hoops legends you can stomach in that kind of show.

Amazon and NBC have their work cut out for them

I understand the "fukk SAS/Nick Wright/Skip Bayless, they never hooped before!!!!!!" crowd. The problem is now we got a bunch of former hoopers giving their opinions on TV/podcasts and these guys are either dumb as a box of rocks or unlikeable dikkheads. Stephen A is a clown but at least he's entertaining & will give us some insightful discourse
