Avery Johnson was the leader of the early Spurs 'chip teams. He's not in the Hall. Neither Shaq nor Kobe were the leader of their 00-02 teams. The leader of the team is not always the best player.

Draymond is an all time great role player the type of player whose exact skillset could have fit into any great team at any point in history. Plug him in for Ron Harper and the 96 Bulls are going 76-6. Pick a team, any team they all get better with a guy that has his IQ on both ends of the floor his problem is that he's dependent on the guys around him executing but he sets the table on both ends excellently. He can only do so much but what he does raises ceilings. His mouth is what people hate and they let it spill over into his game. The Coli's like that Dame got bumped up to Steph's level here because guys just fukk with him as a person. Draymond was out here shytting on actual superstars and legends and guys felt the need to "remind" him (because its not like he's actually reading this) that he's just a water carrier.

You can't plug him into any team though. On the '96 Bulls, Pippen renders him useless. And Ron Harper was 20ppg (4 & 5) scorer that you had to pay attention to. You can't plug him on the Kobe Lakers, any Lebron team, early Spurs, Pistons. The only other team you can put him on for him to be successful are the later Spurs, in place of Diaw.

First, it was the first Spurs title, as in one. Avery Johnson didn’t win a single accolade in his career. Draymond was the leader of a dynasty team. It’s not the same.

And Shaq was the leader of the three-peat Lakers. The fact that you couldn’t name another player lets me know you didn’t think that one fully through.
