Cause KD doesn't have the haters Lebron has. This is far worse than what Lebron did. It made sense for Lebron

He played in CLE
Gave everything he had with poor GM work
Never had a solid #2 ever.
Carried that team year after year
Went to a team that was struggling

Durant played in OKC (cancels out)
Had an amazing front office
Had solid 2nd a third options
Playing with another top 5 player
Went to the team that beat you after you blew a 3-1 lead :scust:

And threw your former teammate under the bus

Lebron did that they'd never let him live it down.

I don't care that he left OKC, but for GS?

I mean cmon .

It makes sense for both actually. Durant got tired of the your turn my turn nature of the Thunder (which every fukking fan criticized until now where it's convenient to forget) and wanted to be a part of a cohesive unit that moved the ball and had great chemistry on/off the floor. for that, it doesn't any better than the Warriors. If he didn't choose them it would probably be the Spurs. If you could put the '02 Kings in a time machine then maybe them.

All of those things you label as advantages for him over LeBron don't matter when he didn't value them the same way and they didn't result in anything. Could LeBron have won a title with that support? Yeah, but Durant isn't LeBron and does need a certain supporting cast to win it all. He has that now.

He never threw his teammates under the bus that is all the media who a lot of you guys are falling prey too

If LeBron did that, his titles would speak for themselves. The people who bring up the low moments of his career look dumb now in hindsight because he's proven his decision was correct

If the Warriors are the worst team he could've joined in anybody's mind you got issues. That is the BEST decision he could have made if leaving OKC. It's insane to think otherwise

"When you’re at that stage of your career, you want to find a place where you’re gonna enjoy your job. I had to grow up really fast in Philadelphia, just being in that environment. It was stressful to go to work. It helped me grow up fast, helped me understand both sides of on the court and off the court. But I wasn’t happy. I wasn’t quite enjoying the game of basketball, but I was giving it my all. You see a lot of athletes, Jerry Rice’s NFL Life, they said all Jerry did was work. But he didn’t have fun while he played. It was just work, work, work. I went through that for eight years in Philadelphia where I worked, worked, but I didn’t have fun. Playing against the Warriors in the playoffs, it’s interesting, when you’re playing on the road sometimes, you get a certain vibe. There’s this aura in Oracle Arena. It’s like, I don’t know what it is about this place, this team hasn’t won too many championships. There’s something about this place. I like playing here. Then you see the way the players are playing. Playing in theNBA, it’s all about confidence. With any professional athlete, it’s all about confidence. They all have talent. It’s all about confidence in the situation you’re in. I just saw the way Klay was shooting the ball. Like, he would take bad shots and coach would say, ‘Great shot!’ Then Steph would do certain moves where you’re like, ‘That’s not normal.’ Not that he shouldn’t be doing it, but there are a lot of other guys who could be doing similar things as Steph but their organization or coaching staff — (he turns to Durant) Kevin, you see it all the time — they don’t believe in you, so you’re not allowed to do it. You never know how good certain guys are. So when you see certain guys playing with that confidence, you’re like, wow, they really like playing basketball here and are really able to play to their strengths. It’s just like going to college. How do I see myself on campus, how do I see myself with other students, what’s my major on the side. It’s a similar process as going to college. This is a place where you combine all media and basketball interests as far as Silicon Valley and tech. Some of the thing that the team is doing off the court, it just kinda meshed. The timing is perfect."-Andre Igoudala
All this means is while in Philly, Iggy wasn't good enough on the court to produce the wins to turn the work into fun off of it.

Yet he had no problem signing max deals like he was that good.

In return, I'm sure the Sixers front office thought it was 'fun' to unload his max deal to another team so he could be a 6th man

These Warriors dudes already in rare form with the arrogance and it's not even Game 1 yet smh

When pierce joined the Clippers no one would have imagined the Warriors would with win 73 games that same season. That nikka was joining the team he thought had the best chance at winning the chip. Its human nature to take the easiest route.
If that was the case, he would've joined the nikka that ended his OG franchise's big 3 and the team that was one decent second option away from beating GSW :troll:

I think you're off on this 1. Anybody watching the Warriors play can see those guys are having fun out there and like playing with each other. Look at Bradley Beal and John Wall, 2 cats that hate playing with each other. Look at anybody that plays with Melo, they hate playing with him. Look at James Harden and Dwight Howard, they hated playing with each other.

The Warriors stand out because you see everyone getting along. When guys leave you don't hear them saying anything about how they didn't enjoy themselves while they was here. Not many liked to play with Kobe, had Cleveland lost 1 more game we'd be talking about how Kyrie and Kevin Love didn't like playing with LeBron.

I say all that to say that if you have to play 82+ games a season, it helps to be around good people in a fun environment.

Season hasn't even started yet and they're already fed up. Not sure these Warriors are built to be villains...
