Dre had help from Daz in the studio in the early 90's, Daz in turn had help from Soopafly and Mike Dean in the late 90's. All of these producers were at their best when collaborating with other dope producers.

The proof is in the pudding though in the fact that Dre produced classics in the 80's, 90's, 2000's and 2010's no matter who was or was not working with him. You can't tell me he's a fraud when he's been influential across 4 different decades and when co-producers themselves have stated how much Dre adds to a track even when he does a simple mix. shyt look at the recent Dre / Premier tracks, when was the last time Premier had bangers like that? Dre's at his best when working with other producers, he knows this and has had this type of studio environment since Death Row.

Is Timbo a fraud because he was working with Storch and Danja?

Dre's still on top, but DJ Yella, Daz, Sam Sneed, Scott Storch, Mel Man etc. typically all fell off soon after they stopped fukking with Dre.

Facts are facts breh :yeshrug:

yeah, i hear that and i agree to an extent but you can't deny that dr. dre has had that infrastructure for a good minute along with different priorities from someone like daz. look at somebody like daz, daz seem like the type of nikka who so long as he ain't on the street and not workin' at wendy's, he's happy and good. as long as he can move how he wanna, got more than enough money to constantly buy and smoke weed and not have to be at a job at 8 o'clock in the mornin, he good. another thing is motivation and what one seeks out as bein' successful. no doubt i'm sure daz would probably love to have a "beats by daz" type of thing but bein' that daz seems rather content and inconsistent with producin' great shyt and just kinda doin' whatever, you could view him as unreliable because it all depends on if he's really motivated to make some great shyt and not just releasin' a bunch of music for the sake of releasin' it

dj yella has said (in a vladtv interview) he lost the passion for music after eazy e passed. so he'd moved on from it and the love he once had for producin', was gone

sam sneed kinda just fell off after the death row days but then he got back up with dre and helped out with some of them early g unit songs on aftermath

scott storch demons got the best of him and he couldn't shake them when it came to that snow white

mel man, i don't know what the fukk happened to him after the chronic 2001. last time i saw him was in a picture at some even with dre

and no, timbaland is not a fraud for workin' with storch ad danja. i ain't sayin' dre a fraud either but i am sayin' he's had a great producer like daz by his side who did a lot more than he got credit for

danja put the battery in timbaland's back when he got wack for a quick minute. that nikka bought timbaland back with that justin timberlake album and nelly furtado album back in like 06'

It's a lil fukked up that Melman fell off after leaving Dre. He actually had hot beats without Dre's help.

ppl talking about Dre ain't shyt without a/b/c/d/e when it's the other way around, these so called Dre's "ghost producers" (who oddly enough have always been given credit, so they're really not "ghost" at all) haven't really done shyt worth mentioning without Dre. Yet this same dumb ass thread gets made at least 4 times/year.
