Nas and Jay aren't just rhyming about the same shyt. If you listen to them, especially Jay, you can tell they read it's just that what they are talking about went over your head because a lot of the stuff they refer to they use it as metaphors. Rick Ross is still new and can get away with what he is talking about but even he is good at playing with words.

What I meant by reading was not just talking about what you read but you learn how to play with words and be creative, I explained that already.

All you people who are mad at me and calling me names, I ain't mad at you because you still believe the dream of a star being beyond normal and hate the messenger but again think about what I stated. If you just do nothing all day but smoke, do shows, not a health nut, and a reader all day(not once in a while) writing raps for WHOLE ALBUMS FOR A DECADE will get tiresome due to boredom especially if you been doing the same style of rap all those years plus way before that when you was doing it as a hobby. I'm not saying Nas can't rhyme but he may need help for some of his songs just like MOST ARTIST WHO HAVE BEEN DOING IT FOR A LONG TIME. Just like that Nasty song I but most of you couldn't tell he wasn't rhyming fast like that, his vocals or the song was time stretched to give you an uptempo feel because Nas breath control isn't like that anymore and you would know this if you seen him live. Nas is my favorite rapper because he had all the qualites needed to be a star but time moves on and it caught up with him but he still needs to pay bills so he uses machinery and maybe people for a little help but it doesn't take away from his genius.

Y'all are so emotional you can't accept this fact that most humans have unless you just have a strong discipline to watch you put into your body, love learning new shyt EVERYDAY, and always try new forms of creativity to keep your creative energy flowing. These qualities are rare in artist and people in general so don't be shocked when your favorite artist is just like you when they get older.

BTW, Props to NAS. I understand how life goes and no hate go towards you because I can still tell when you have that original Hip Hop energy we grew up on in NYC and make a song with it and when you needed to make a song for the album to fulfill the contract. I don't know, maybe she can maybe she can't but I'm talking about the fact that he may have needed help in his older albums to fulfill his contract because you have to have a certain amount of songs to make an album and he may have needed help which is most likely. I'm not stating those songs dream is talking about are the actual songs he needed help with.

BTW, I'm not talking about producing a tack and assisting the artist I'm talking about someone writing a verse or two for a few songs. I doubt NAS would have someone write his whole song and all he does is recite it because he has been rhyming so long and have a love of rhyming it wouldn't be hard for him to write a verse for a song.

People don't realize you have deadlines for albums because big money is at play and if you don't meet them the record company will just get someone to help you.

The hate I'm receiving is the same as that kid who had the thread on sohh about wanting to be a rapper and when he learned what the business was really about and who used help for the songs he was disillusioned. I'm done. You can continue with the hate.

The diss on takeover went into detail about it. You're acting like NAS didn't have songs that were straight skippers when you compare them to the best that NAS has done. They sounded average as fukk. They just had NAS voice on them.

People act like a rapper just sits home all day and writing raps and living a normal life for inspiration. No, they have to do shows as that is where most of their money is coming from which means they are bored and not inspired most of the time and if you smoke a lot and sit down all day with no strenuous exercise daily, your brain blood flow will be lowered then it was when you were younger which means more writers block. Unless you do different things to keep your creative energy flowing which helps you love the rapping even more but if all you do is rap and do shows it will wear you down after a while and become boring.

Also for the dream Hampton defenders who say ish like " why would she lie". Well I have no idea but she has lied before. For example she used to say she had yet to listen to Kanyes MBDTF on twitter for a long time after it came out, yet there is audio of her on WBAI with Harry Allen and others talking bout Decoded etc and she specifically says she only likes about 5 songs on the album.
