This country was built and became a economic super power on the back of black African slaves who not only provided free /cheap labor for hundreds of years to a very booming industry of sugar, rum, tobacco, cotton, indigo etc that allowed white slave owners to avoid over head, insurance , and other things other countries had to worry about in employing slaves, but they stole and patented many of our inventions that they earned the equivalent of billions, they exploited our skills and our ability to manufacture and produce these things, they didn't come to west Africa with dumb negros who needed training, we were the most skilled which is why they used us the most and to top it all off, when slavery ended they received huge dollars in the form of reparations for the slaves they lost while giving the actual newly freed slave nothing. The income they earned from that free and cheap labor aided them in creating steel mills, bringing in their industrial revolution, it aided them in creating the stock market, creating their banks, creating their insurance companies , their universities, their hospitals, we built their plantations which aided in their agriculture, point is this country was built on our backs.

This is not to say no others weren't exploited , just saying their contributions are small in comparison.
