No way in hell this song can be categorized as generic, lol.
The Eagles coming out to that in the SB cemented its GOAT status.

you pulled 5 bars outta the entire song and called it generic....and one of the bars specifically mentions Philly.....still don't see how it's generic in any sensethese nikkas want me dead and i gotta make it back home

nikkas try take my life fukk around get killed
you fukk around you fukk around you fukk around get smoked

Booth full ofOne of my favorite jams ever for sure. Not too many songs match that energy.
And sidenote, I'm so sick of you nikkas that refuse to consider any song passed 2001 a contender for GOAT status. Like there hasn't been classics that's dropped since then. Let one of you weirdos tell it, the last great Hip Hop album was Blueprint or some weird ass shyt.
And don't get me wrong, I love the classics, and might even miss when lyrics and album concepts actually meant something. But this appalled attitude most of you nikkas get when even mentioning something in the last 10 years as a classic or "Top" anything is strange as hell. Y'all won't get over the past and it's a little sickening. Dreams and Nightmares is probably one of the most pure Hip Hop songs of the last decade but here come you weirdos with "BuT iT's NoT bEtTeR tHaN cL SmOoTh AnD pEtE rOcK."
fukk up man.
Nah, it's a gang of Ross, Wayne, Ye, etc. tracks better than this too :manuehh:

I’m taking all these Meek Mill tracks over Dreams and Nightmares. It’s a hot track but top 10 of all time? It might be a top 5 Meek Mill track but you tying to elevate this track too high. You can name 10 2Pac songs better than that.
Got nothing to do when it was made. It’s plenty of modern songs I love. I love the song Savior by Kendrick Lamar but I’m not looking to elevate it to legendary rap song status because I like it and it’s a hot song.
