:yeshrug: Stack Jack called out these trainers for this stuff too. Basically said most of the drills are a waste of time. Also said the best way to improve your game is to just stay in the gym and shoot around yourself.

Anybody know if Kobe ever had a trainer?
Some guys don't need a trainer an just need to put time in the gym.
Some guys need help. A lot of guys won't ever admit it though.

Look how painful this was for Bron but his post game improved and has been a consistent part of his game: since:

I see what OP is saying but you keep moving the goalposts. When a player who worked with him is good then you saying “b..b..b..b he was already good” but if a mediocre player trained with him then you blame the trainer :hula:
Right. Act like every trainer turns every player into a star or some shyt. No some guys would still be bums with a different trainer

Wiggins been posting videos with him every summer. nikka still sucks. That said I think trainers are overrated. They help but I doubt theres much difference between them. Any high school coach with 3 hrs a day with a guy can get you better

I somewhat agree. Trainers, the good ones can do wonders. Look at Chip Engelland with the Spurs. He is a guru at developing players, fixing jumpshots but trainers can only do so much. The players have to put in work on their own when the trainer isn't there holding their hand.

Brickley is an opportunist that made the most of what was available to him. He posts for IG clout. If you're serious about improving, you're getting in the gym with someone who has proven results.

The best way to improve your shot is to lock yourself in a gym or playground and get up 500 shots a session; 100 from different points of the perimeter.

summed up perfectly, he is a big time clout chaser and name dropper.

He’s been working with RJ since he was in HS as well due to the Duffy connection. Every summer he says he’s tweaked RJ’s shot. I know Wiggins left him like two years ago.
I thought they just started linking up, that explains ALOT then..He'll probably just have to get put on that summerjam screen like what happened with Fultz.

Yeah they’ve been together since before he committed to Duke. And I haven’t seen any real tangible change in RJ’s game in the time since.
