:picard: Benz or BMs don't last over 130k with no problems? that's news to me. by that time, I'll be ready for a newer model upgrade anyway :yeshrug: . But I have heard nothing but good things about the reliability of Lexus and Toyota brands.
What’s the point of copping a new car every few years when you can just buy something quality(ie lexus) that can last you 20+ years :mindblown:

Maybe it’s just me...my pops just got rid of his 94’ ES 300..had it new off the dealership floor.:ahh:

"Imagine paying $400 TO REPLACE THE GAWDDAMN HEADLIGHT".. yeah but also imagine not having to pay $1400 every two months on car repairs for your domestics with limited warranty after it reaches a certain mileage or thousands of dollars on transmission replacement, bc its horribly built. Also imagine driving a bmw/benz for years and years with no major repairs as long as you keep up with the maintenance as opposed to paying thousands of dollars on your American made after a year of steady driving on a car that loses drivability year after year. Then imagine not having to spend money on an oil change every 3mos or 3000 miles, as opposed to 1 yr or 10000 miles for your bmw/benz. Lastly, imagine the hundreds of dollars that you will save each year by not having to get an uber, cab, train bc you're car repairs are worth more than the actual car and it's not worth having it.

You don't see a problem with spending $400 off warranty to fix a broken headlight?!!? You buggin...:dahell: Those european cars be the most depreciating money pit having muthafukkas especially once you can't afford that shyt... all those electronics and overdeveloped shyts be breaking down at a certain point...

At least with american cars it's not THAT expensive to fix... :pachaha: No BMW OR BENZ GOES FOR YEARS WITHOUT NO MAJOR REPAIRS... ESPECIALLY THE NEW ONES... :laff::laff::laff: you buggin.

safety features and enhancements for starters....
I rear ended a trailer with lawn equipment in it few months back going at 35 mph..airbags deployed but no body or frame damage except my front license plate was torn off

I’m sure a newer car would’ve crumpled under such conditions

my neighbour hit a range rover at like 90km/h. his mitsubishi truck looked like it fell off a cliff. the range rovers bumper barely fell off :gucci:

cant say many would have the same experience in a lesser automobile in the same scenario :scust:

average K and tranny -swap is like 5 bands. After a tune, suspension and gutting the car, we'll say another 5. 10 bands.

You serious? 5k for a tune, suspension, and gutting the car? Since when does gutting a car cost money? You just remove the shyt you don't want in it. My tuner charges $500, and he's one of the best in the game. I paid $800 for my suspension. Also for your dig comment, there's all motors Hondas running 9-10 sec in the 1/4. Look G, I know BMW is ya shyt. I don't know shyt about em. But I ain't on here spewing shyt idk either. I actually like them though. Great looking cars. I owned an older 528 maybe? Might've been a 525. Traded a CRX for it, got rid of it because it wasn't for me. As for that 800+ hp bimmer, I helped a friend put together a turbo GSR (stock 1.8l). He made 750whp for 6k, car included. Engine had 170k miles on it, after being on nitrous for 2 years, then turbo for 2 more years, he still drives it today minus the turbo. No knock on BMW, I'm a car guy, a fan of most manufacturers. I'm not some nikka blowing smoke, I really do this, so I know the facts. Who gettin' they hands dirty?
