You have to have a better solution than to tell a mother who has lost 3 boys to just MOVE to a homeless shelter, to save her last child from violence..

What's funny is that it was way worse 10 and even 20 years ago. The media has an agenda for some reason. Through it all I learned the power of the media and how easy it is to brainwash legions of people.

Exactly! Man, Chicago's murder rates were actually dropping. It was like the media was upset about it so they started broadcasting how many people shot and how many killed after every weekend to make you think it's getting worse. It's certainly bad, but they always follow up a report about drops in homocides with a report on how many people got shot. And if there weren't enough people shot, then they tell you about how many gunshots were reported. The media is playing a very manipulative game.

I don't care if the murder rate/ crime rate whatever is a fraction of what it was decades ago. It is still a huge problem now. Thats the point you coppers and weak minded folks don't understand.

So if 40 ppl are shot in a weekend in Chicago, that shouldn't be reported in the news? Thats what I don't understand about small minded ppl. You'd rather blame who is reporting the problems instead of the cats bussing they guns over color and shoe strings.

The bottom line is, there are huge problems in certain segments of our cities and neighborhoods.

I was responding to what you and IKE said.

You saying the media is playing a manipulative game I do disagree with. I've never seen pockets of coverage about inner city violence (meaning at times they report and other times they don't depending on if it fits their narrative). I've seen coverage of it whenever it happens.

I believe by and large the media is reporting whats going on.
