DMV line in LA aint like it used to be. They put of alot of annoying services online.just got a notice in the mail.
apparently I have to go in this year, can't do it online.
I have spent years of my life avoiding having to go stand in a fukkin line at the DMV. no tickets, no BS no nothing. stupid ass Real ID apparently I need a picture update
Plus you're grown, go ahead book that appointment instead of waiting to the last minute.
Ironically I was able to renew mine from home a couple years ago.
My picture is still from when I was 18.

Are you getting the Real ID? Make sure to get that one. It's going be the standard in a couple years. Late to the party, but I actually was able to renew everything in NJ online last year. Kept my same photo, sent my shyt through the mail.Y'all doing this shyt online or what?
Mine is expiring and in NJ you have to make an appointment at DMV for the license renewal. WTF??? Never was like this before, could walk in, no problem
I want a new pictureevery 4 years.

In Cali y'all don't have the enhanced id option like NY do?

Don't waste your money with that bullshyt. In 3 years they will have face recognition scanners in every airport.
I feel like that is a way that the state can generate more income.
Also you have to go in to the DMV and get your photo taken for it. And not all DMVs are RealID ready, only a few in the state.
You can't use it for international travel, so what the fukk is the point? Still need your passport.
Just got my notice in the mail. They got this real ID option. I'm not doing it since I already have a passport card.
Here, you can't fly without it starting a few weeks ago. I don't think every state is like that but Alabama is all in.
I thought you can use another government issued ID and place of it (passport ID, passport, military or government id)?

Yeah you have to have that when you used to not. Now if you renew you HAVE to get a Star ID
