Drogas Wave is a masterpiece.
It's just so long. I gotta dedicate a good chunk of the afternoon to spin it from start to finish. T&Y is a much shorter commitment.
DAMN is nowhere near Kendrick's best work IMO. It's probably the album I go back to the least. Still great tho.

Damn is between 9.5 and 10. one of the only rap albums that check every box, from the musical composition to the melodies. Far from being my favorite kendrick album, but quality wise, it's a masterpiece.

7/10 would be generous for these projects. objectively.
Not really. I mean I much prefer TPAB. But Damn is just as good, just a totally different album influenced by different genres.
Both worthy of the pulitzer even though only damn won it. No rap album flawlessly incorporated LA black rock like Damn did... And you can argue it features the absolute best elements. Which is a first in rap music.
