Outside of cartel on cartel and cartel vs government nonsense, it's a nice country to visit. Amazing cuisine, beautiful landscapes, top museums, ancient ruins. And Black people are generally treated well. Unless it's a direct threat on your life, no one should be discouraged from visiting any part of the world.
