Dubai aint cheap bro,i lost maaad money on nothin, there are just a lot of taxis so demand/supply you know, plus them people have oil in abundance so anything gas related is going to be cheaper.

I lost money too. Like NYC there are scammer gypsy cabs at the airport so if any man approaches you asking you if you want a cab just walk away.

also next time I will pay more money to be at modern Dubai cause old Dubai is far away and the cab ride to modern Dubai can easily be from 82 to 100 duhrum (sorry if I spelled the currency wrong)


By staying in old Dubai you will be spending lots of cab fees unless you are ok with taking the metro everywhere.

btw their metro system is nice, clean and has AC. Only issue is the system just goes up down left and right so it won’t be able to take you everywhere but I think it does a good job taking you where you need to be.

When I went to Dubai in like 2011, there was a lot of bad bytches walking around that weren’t Arab. Mostly escorts I’d assume because one of the hotels I stayed at had $400 a hour escorts

I seen more beautiful woman by the Marina. Maybe it’s the covid effect but I felt like it was nothing compared to Miami.

Oh yea there are a lot of Ethiopians and a Kenyans also. Shockingly didn’t see much Eritrean or Somalian but I’m sure it’s because I only stayed for 3 days

In old Dubai you are going to be filled with mostly south asian, Arabic food from all nations and asian(Japanese, Chinese and Filipino)


Unfortunately I didn’t eat much food here but black tap burger has some of the best burgers in Dubai with amazing milkshakes. I think we have that spot in NyC also
