its more like "hakeem needed help to get the two titles" while many here were making it seem like he was a 1 man wrecking crew and duncan was on the dream team
Gotcha. Is there any video out there of these two going at it on the court? I remember when KG was in the West and Timmy used to give KG that work:pachaha:

You have to say peak dream >>>> peak duncan

I'll concede that longevity duncan >>> longevity dream (there were factors determining that but it's fine)

But you can't sit here and really list anything duncan definitely did better than dream in their respective primes.

Scoring - Dream
Defense - Dream
Rebounding - Push/Wash
Offensive Game - Dream
Defensive Versatility - Dream (he could guard 3-5, and even stay with guards on the perimeter)
Leadership - I guess you can say Duncan here, since dream was a wildman before he found religion

I'll just take all of these posts attempting to change the subject to mean you have no response to the numerous posts of mine directed at you. :ehh:

:dead:

Breh I have quoted you I don't know how many times in this thread. Your job is to either tell me where I am wrong or fall back...not completely ignore those posts and then try to hop on other posts in hopes that you can change the subject :heh:.

:looks forward to yet another post not addressing all the shyt I have laid out in here and trying to act like it's not there:

Hakeem for the simple fact that The Dream does everything better than Duncan :yeshrug:. Take away the rings and accolades. In a vacuum I just believe Hakeem was just a better player.

Where's the poll? I'm interested

21 and 12 is getting shut down breh? :dwillhuh:. It's not like Duncan was getting swarmed (like always) by the Lakers because they really didn't respect his teammates or anything.

your right he didn't get "shutdown" per say, but malone did a great job on him. Yes he got doubled a lot and hedo sucked that series along with devon brown and those other guys.

However in the last 4 games (Where they lost each one) here are his numbers

Game 3 - 4-14 10 points on 29% shooting in a blowout lost
Game 4 - 5-13 19 points on 39% shooting in a 8 point loss
Game 5 - 7-15 21 points on 47% shooting in a single digit loss. He pulled down 21 rebounds this game.
Game 6 - 7-18 21 points on 39% shooting in a must win game.

Let's not act like he was giving the lakers 30-15 on 60% shooting and his teammates stunk it up

In his second year Duncan went against PRIME Shaq with young Kobe and Rice in tow and put up 29 and 10 (avg 35 and 14 in LA) and swept them out of the Forum with his best teammate avg. 14 ppg.

He killed them, kudos to duncan. He's great, i just feel dream is better.

Who is acting like that? All I am actin like is that he didn't get shut down which is what you said and what I responded to.

So what would you call his last 4 games? Maybe the term shutdown was harsh, but clearly his production tailed after game 2.

And that is fine and you are more than entitled to that and it's not like it's a ridiculous opinion. You just can't make up reasons and cherry pick what you want to talk about and what you want to ignore based on that feeling.
