Not at all. It's an arbitrary argument.

Timmy won throughout his career. Dream near the end. That's what made me lean towards Timmy. :manny:

you have to look at the situations they were drafted into.

Dream was on a truely bad team, and duncan came to a team which 2 years prior won 55+ games. Not the same

hakeem, he's the best Center Ever, and easily top 5 NBA players of all time.
I dont know about ever. :patrice:
Definitely the best I 've seen, tho:ehh:

I refrain from commenting on players ive never seen play. I didnt see Kareem or Wilt or Bill Russell play so I cant comment on them.
Edit: Well i may have seen Kareem play his very last year but that was well past his prime. Still cant comment since i didt see his prime:manny:

Hakeem and it's not even close. He won with no All-stars on his team. Drexler was the only former all-star he played with and the year they won Drexler didn't make the all-star team. Meanwhile Tim played with Allstars and hall of famers his whole career.

Defense it's not close. Hakeem played in the Goat Era for big men and still managed to become number 1 in blocks and top 10 in steals. There isn't another BIG MAN IN THE TOP 50 IN STEALS AND HE IS IN THE TOP 10. But you expect to believe that him and Duncan is close defensively :camby:

Hakeem is a top 5-7 player while Duncan is a top 8-10 player.

that's all there is to it.

Similar to comparing Lou Gehrig to Jimmie Foxx

Duncan is one of the best rim protectors ever

And he's still one of the top in the game pushing 40

Hakeem was capable of dropping a 33-11 playoff run against the league MVP (david) and Shaq + Penny

Shaq and Penny had 0 chance against Hakeem in his prime - Hakeem shytted on Shaq
Lol props to Hakeem for outplaying third year shaq

I'll take shaqs two consecutive playoff years of 30-15-2 resulting in finals MVPs over your selective stats.

Shaq beat two MVPs during his title runs

He WAS MVP during the other

Otis Thorpe was an All Star outside of Hakeem Olajuwon that played on the first Rockets championship team.
