I'm intrigued. Dunk & Egg has a different tone and feel then some of the other Westeros stories.

I was late as fukk to GoT, and I have never read the books. but I have watched the series 2 times all the way thru now.

but I don't know much about these books, so to me, it sounds laughable due to this.

These are a lot lighter, funner than the main books, and there are a lot of Easter eggs to the main story.

That is correct. The “Egg” that Aemon is referring to is his younger brother, Aegon V. The tales of him and “Dunk” are very entertaining, but I can’t see them stretching out for more than a season for each book. Still….I prefer this to the House of the Dragon series.

Don’t forget that the Dunk and Egg timeline a lot of important shyt happens in Westeros. The start of the BlackFyre rebellion, Bloodraven’s whole story arc, etc..If GRRM was as efficient a writer as a Brandon Sanderson, the whole Planetos would be as big as a property as the MCU imo

Yep. Whole lot of important shyt happens in those stories. Hope they do it justice. Casting need to be right though.
