As far as ratings, its tough because I border (who am I kidding) on ALC-stannery and equally enjoy all of these for the most part.

If I had to go on a limb, Id say this project is lyrically the strongest and production-wise, its towards the bottom (compared to Covert Coup, Rare Chan and No Idols).

I dig the beats here for the most part, but to put it in perspective: I liked the production more on No Idols, but found the lyrics waaay weaker than this. Asia is a monster, and his crew stays on point too

BTW, this is random, but ya'll know Alchemist accidentally loaded a new sequence onto his MPC before deleting the old instruments and ended up with this beat on accident right? That's why they called the song Crash. Thought that was cool. Al went in after and threw in some chops.

We agree on most shyt, and I can understand putting No Idols over this (beat wise at least), but you really enjoyed the beats on Rare Chandeliers more than the beats on 360 Waves?

The more on more I look back, out of the 20-21 beats on Rare Chandeliers, I only think like 5 are good to great. Most are average, and a few flat out stink.

I was all over it at first because it was hyped and I wanted to like it. But in retrospect I don't like most of the beats on there.

I feel you. Honestly, it could all change for me. I was underwhelmed with RC at first but Ive grown to like it a lot more. You know youre a super-fan when it comes down to thinking that 360 Waves has 3-4 beats you KINDA dont like, and RC has like 2-3 lol...

I wish DRDC got to rhyme over Randy The Musical and Gateway to Wizardry :wow:

Spiral Event, Bigger U Are..., Shooters arent really resonating with me, but overall I really like this project. Its a judgement call I guess. ALC got too many styles and some like some more than others maybe?

Planet Asia really really doesnt get enough recognition for his wordplay and for basically having no weak verses :whew:

Hes like Roc Marciano but with more energy

His new album with Gensu Dean "Abrasions" is tough as hell too

Yeah I'm with you on this. Honestly the third beat on Randy is one of my favorite ALC beats of the past few years period.

Spiral Event didn't hit with me either. Ev's verse is the only part I like actually. Shooter didn't, but it grew. I like Bigger U Are, it's one of the older ones on there...back when it was just an Asia and ALC album (which is why Tri-State and Ben aren't on the song)

Album is dope.

As for ALC's other recent releases, I think's it better than RC and RR (couldn't mess with RR)...but ain't nothing fukking with Covert Coupe :whew:

I don't know if it's my favorite, but it's top 3. Props. Not enough people recognize the genius of that beat. Plus for an album that has a lot of melancholy/mood beats, Crash is a good burst of energy, and Ev kills that shyt.

"Trailer Mix" with that sound ALC already used on "Legends" with P'... :wow:

This album... "Lord Steppington", "Albert Einstein"... "Recoversionalize" (?!)... Boldy James... a soundtrack project for GTA 5... :gladbron:

2013 is the year, The Alchemist. :salute:

Forgot all about the Boldy James album...:obama:

Still wish it was Gibbs lol.

Also you got the Israel samples album! But it;s more chops and beats, less straight loops (Russian Roulette).

PLUS I feel (not certain) like he has an album with Styles P in the stash. :lawd:

Props on dude who dropped that link of ALC spinning samples on the radio for 30 minutes.

The OG song that "I Love To Give You Light" samples is disgusting :wow:
