A title this year gives him the same number as Bron. And if he plays with Bron and is the clear best player on a title winning team, that would be a great look for him. If he outscored Bron in the Finals while playing with Bron everybody will say Bron stepped back to let him do it so he could run point.

Some people will make that case but i dont think its that serious....if he's the leading scorer and scores the big baskets in crunch time, he'll win Finals MVP and it'd be a good look for him.

I can see Bron himself using that narrative though. "Yeah, um, you know I just wanted to take a step back and let KD do his thing. I think me running point is actually what propelled us to victory. I was able to get KD a ton of great looks all series. Y'all know I love to pass and I do it well"

he had better teammates but it wasn't as big of a discrepancy as the 2018 Dubs title. And that Spurs title in 2013 was hard fought, both of KDs rings have been cakewalks.
