How was Bird better than KD?
Honestly breh i i feel bad cus i like you. Not on some gay shyt :dame:

But unfortunately i hate KD, ill at least keep it fair

Stats are hard to compare because of different era's. I dont need to take stats into consideration. What seperates KD from Bird is that KD is a follower, not a leader

To me it seemed clear with the Thunder that he was looking to Westbrook to lead. They both played an equal part in the teams 3-1 collapse

I had also seen in years leading up to that Westbrook was the one more willing to lead. KD was one of my favorite players, i loved the Thunder. I really think they couldve beaten GS eventually and won a championship

Durant even admitted he needed someone like Steph as a leader...Westbrook might put even more effort in on the court then Steph but Steph is far more intelligent and has a much higher bball iq, much better decision maker late in games.

Although KD's skillset is on par with anyones, id have to put Steph ahead for that reason too

Skill wise Durants there with the all time greats, its almost like he doesnt believe in himself as much as he should. Thats Thats ok, its his life. But because of that i cant put him up there with Kobe, Lebron, or even Bird

To be that high up on my list you have to be a leader. I think thats the same reason why some put Dirk ahead of KG. KG was the better all around player when you factor in defense. But Dirk was willing and more able to put a team on his back offensively

he had better teammates but it wasn't as big of a discrepancy as the 2018 Dubs title. And that Spurs title in 2013 was hard fought, both of KDs rings have been cakewalks.
Not his fault, the Cavs just beat the Warriors before he signed and according to the Coli they would've won in 2015 too if Kyrie and Love was healthy.

Leadership has nothing to do with whose game is better. Mark Jackson led damn near every team he played for and he's not going in the Hall of Fame.

I get your point, and by that formula i would also be saying Westbrook is better then Durant because hes more willing to lead...i dont think that though, KD is better then Russ and obviously Mark Jackson too.

When it comes to superstar players i do feel like thats what seperates some of them. When its too close to look at stats or too hard to compare id look at other things

These are just how i view things and my opinions. Maybe i shouldnt act like their facts, theres already alot of that on here. Reminds me of that saying about the wise man and the fool...

Y’all be talking like KD is still 24, he just turned 30. He’s not catching LeBron in anything besides rings. KD will start slowing down around the same time LeBron does. And by then LeBron will be pushing 40.

KD’s rings are fake like spongbob’s quarter

If he wasnt always a leader he certainly became one. He was always a leader by example, i dont think anyone worked harder and watched more footage then Kobe did

Lakers had a great 3 year run when they went to the finals 3 years in a row and won twice, contrary to popular belief Kobe did pass to his teammates. He was an effective leader on and off the court

kob was basically a coach on the floor for those 2 titles. One of those years he had them huddling on every dead ball like a college team :russ:

by yall logic lebron only has 1 ring tho :gladbron:
so when KD leaves the warriors in 2022 for the seattle expansion team and brings them a ring he'll have solidified his legacy and his 6 rings with the warriors will count right? :gladbron:
When will y’all understand that LeBron joining the Heat and KD joining the Warriors IS NOT AN EQUAL COMPARISON. At all.
