Whenever you are truly bothered by something, (not like a full on breakdown, seek help, or suicidal), but like a bad moment/bad day offer to help someone, a stranger, if you can.

What it does is take you out of your own world, creates good feelings, makes you connected with people, even if for a moment.

I remember having that kind of day, and I was sitting in some park, in the hood, by myself, and I just offered to help this woman, who was setting up a family birthday party. Just to be of service, and she was like "i got this but I appreciate you", and just that small moment, I felt a little better.

Keep a gratitude list and read it over when you have that anxiety, depression, whatever

Try to keep a real and accurate sense of your OWN life, and see how far you've come. I try to do this. First, acknowledge you are fukked up, momentarily, for the day, for the hour, whatever, and then this, well, 15 years ago I was in jail. I was riding the bus.
All of this! Take this rep, man!

20 years ago I broke up with my girl and I was kinda going thru it. Then I bought a CD player for my bathroom and every morning I played "99 problems" as loud as I could get it on repeat while I went through my morning routine. I was good in like a week
Whole time the new dude she with was playing "Is that Your Chick?"

The life cycle continues :wow:

- Moved away from my hometown (being stuck in the same cycle for years will depress anyone)

- Got a skincare routine

- Got an exercise routine (exercise is the #1 antidepressant)

- Started following style pages/people I found fashionable on social media, found cheaper alternatives to what they were wearing lol and got my wardrobe better (when you look good, you feel good)
Can you recommend some style page/people?
