:ehh:Damn I didn’t know that shyt. I mean I knew the coach could, but not any player who wasn’t in possession of the ball.

Calling Timeouts
In high school and college basketball, players on the court or the coach may call timeouts. In the NBA, only players in the court are permitted to call timeouts. Players and coaches may only call timeouts when the ball is dead, or when the ball is live and their team has sole possession. For example, a coach or player may call a timeout after making a basket, since the ball is dead, but not after the opposing team has picked up the ball for the ensuing in-bounds play, since the ball then has become live. Though the clock is stopped, a coach may not call a timeout when an opposing player is shooting a free throw.

Reffing is so hard apparently they can't see coaches or other players calling timeouts.

But yeah, as a basketball player you are taught that if you have the ball that you have to call the timeout in these sort of situations.

Tbh... what JR did was stupid but I kinda figured he brought the ball thinking they were going call timeout.

They had one

The thing is, nobody else was thinking timeout and he didn’t call it himself...

Oh well
He could’ve called a timeout right off the rebound. Stop making excuses for that idiot. He a horrible teammate and Lebron deserves better (with Houston).

The Truth

Stop making excuses for all them nikkas then lmao... nikka needed possession of the ball. KD was right there trying to snatch his shyt.

There were 5 other nikkas on the court including Lue, their coach, who could’ve called timeout.

No excuses for none of these nikkas idgaf about this team

You nikkas always looking for a scapegoat.

-Bron could’ve not played Bronball all game

-Hill could’ve hit his FT’s

-JR could’ve put it back up

-the entire team could’ve called timeout

-Cavs could’ve not got blown out in OT

Stop acting like none of these nikkas had opportunities to win the game

nope...he signaled and should've had 1 sec left
Clock was gone by the time he signaled for an actual timeout, when they had possession. You dont get timeouts when the ball is on the move. Instead of standing there pointing for 2 seconds he could have called it when they actually had possession
