The bigger question is why do so many coaches hate brad stevens. :ohhh:

Especially when his two biggest stars went down...
NBA coaches pick a coach of the year, and Brad Stevens didn't receive a single vote

Casey is also regarded as a top contender for the N.B.A.'s Coach of the Year Award and, according to the people with knowledge of the voting for the N.B.C.A. award, was one of just eight coaches to receive votes in the balloting. The other seven coaches to receive votes from their peers were Philadelphia's Brett Brown, Houston's Mike D'Antoni, Indiana's Nate McMillan, San Antonio's Gregg Popovich, Utah's Quin Snyder, Portland's Terry Stotts and the Los Angeles Clippers' Doc Rivers.

YO, NOT A SINGLE NBA COACH GAVE STEVENS A VOTE?????

:laff:Yo, these dudes are jealous AF at Stevens being so young and getting all this praise. Petty ass coaches lmao.

If they were just going to give it to a top team in a conference they may have well just gave it to Pringles. Imo Brad Stevens deserved it. Without the injuries the Celtics clearly would have been the #1 team in the east and he still did a great job all things considered.

Brad Stevens about to get swept by Bron again too. :usure:

For one, it's a regular season award, Casey deserved it (Stevens deserved it as well as about either other coaches honestly this season). Snyder could've gotten it, Doc Rivers, D'Antoni, Brett Brown could've been in the conversation, Popovich can win it every year and no one would have an objection, Nate McMillian.

Brad Stevens is God on this site apparently but him not winning Coach of the Year isn't some travesty. Nothing he did this year as "unheard of" lol. Nor has anything their team has done in the playoffs been crazy either.

Name a coach whose done what Stevens has done and has had that kind of success in a season. His 2 best players..the 2 cornerstone guys went down and the Celtics were still a top 5 team in the league.

Can u give another example of that?:jbhmm:because I’m pretty sure there isn’t any. And I like Casey, love to see the brotha win. But let’s be real here...The Celtics are about to go to the Conference finals without their 2 best guys. That alone tells u about the level of coaching that Stevens has done this year.

:gucci: Stevens was clearly coach of the year. What he did this year is unheard of. That was like an all time coaching job. And somehow he doesn’t even win it??:why:

Meanwhile Casey who did a good job himself but got SMACKED so bad that he might find himself fired wins it.

Stevens not getting a single vote shows that the coaches are just straight up biased with an agenda.
