Yea I don’t know about this one…that’s Michael fukkin Jordan

my 11 year old cousin is knows about MJ from the last dance and whenever we play 2K black top he picks MJ if I don’t. Been showing him videos of the goat too. MJ will live on forever :wow:

that “and I took that serious” is becoming a meme with the younger generation like the “getting caught in 4K”

True but there's others that are just as popular like Jackie Robinson, Roberto Clemente, Hank Aaron etc. But Babe Ruth is like the holy grail of baseball.
You're naming a bunch of other guys from 50+ years ago.

Ask people who the greatest defensive player in NFL history and most will say LT. Best WR? Jerry Rice. Best RB? Barry or Jim Brown.

Wade sounds like a bozo.

He may be remembered in 2050 but our grandkids may be too far removed from the mythos to still keep him untouchable like many people do now.
Wade's quote says conversations, at worst, it is only one other guy always brought up. MJ will definitely be in the conversations lol.

MJ's documentary was getting higher viewership than playoff games, he is globally known. Kareem is just a bad comparison.

That’s cool and all but the point is the younger fans who didn’t grow up in that era (or even the generation after) aren’t looking at him like that because they didn’t grow up on him. And as generations move on, guys become more distant. It literally happens with everyone in every field of entertainment and sport lol.

People still talk about Muhammad Ali
