I get why some of yall would criticize what the Bulls are doing - any questions about spacing, yeah, I get it

but ya'll need to understand that this franchise needed a signing like this. Needed to shed that image big names didnt want to come here (which was already false) and needed to build some goodwill back with players around the league, who now are able to dictate their every move.

Its a two year relationship that could help this franchise for many years to come, and perhaps as early as next summer if Wade can help recruit another max player to sign here to play with him, Jimmy & our young guys.

Its not perfect, but its something this franchise needed. Yall cant be the same ones every year saying the Bulls cant sign big names, people dont respect the Bulls FO, etc, etc and then shyt on this move. Yall non Bulls fans dont understand just how lowly our respeck levels got around the league

Would have been amazing if they kept DRose and rode with him - but still, this was a nice stepping stone for our franchise

Hopefully it yields a big name player to sign here next summer at a max contract

What's that mean? The Rondo deal is essentially a one year deal. Now you don't have the pressure to re-sign a player for the max who doesn't potentially deserve it in Rose. If Rondo doesn't live up to expectations you can just part ways and he comes off the books. With Rose there would be a lot more to it.
