If the Nets win the lottery, do they trade Davis+Lopez for Howard? If Davis pans out like everyone thinks, that could be a bit much...

nah... if we win da draft -billy king better NOT trade a. davis

plus D12 vaule has to be at a low coming off back surgery

Dwight Howard the next 8 years >> Anthony Davis's upside

And I don't like Dwight Howard.

Davis is mad talented but what are people expecting from him? He's not a great scorer.

Yeah, but long term that might not be best for the franchise.

I just don't place a high value on Dwight to be honest, yeah he's the best center, but eh. And most scouts say unibrow has star potential.

No doubt, but the Nets are about right now at this point, and are trying to get to the upper echelon of franchise value. Davis is a "later" player. This ain't OKC, big bro. They need buttocks' in the seats & Dwight will attract a player like Deron, and so on. Build the "brand" now & it won't be as difficult to recover later on if a bytch ass like Dwight doesn't work out in the super long term. They'll worry about the future...in the future. :win:

honestly i think dwight got more of a shot going to the clippers than the lakers

people want to ignore the fact: kobe dont want dude there. reducing his value to a tyson chandler for him is all the indication that kobe dont see much in howard and immediately made it known before you come to the lake show get in ranking order and be kobe 2nd fiddle. d12 dont seem cool with that.

i think the clippers should seriously consider doing blake and a pick or bum for dwight straight up. works for both franchises. blake is a great player but him and dwight are challenged offensively. i would at least take the better rebounder and shot blocker in the deal if im the clippers. him and cp3 would be golden. plus its still the california market and they still would have other pieces. for orlando, you going to lose d12 anyway, might as well get a guy who going to still fill up the seats and put you on tnt and espn. then move big baby for a decent center. clippers move deandre jordan for another power forward.

The only way Dwight goes to the clippers is for their frontline of Blake AND Jordan. Just like if he were to go to the lakers, it'd be for bynum AND pau. shyt might not seem fair, but that's the way te gonna have o be if he's to land in LA.

Neither is Howard
Thats what I'm saying. His only clear advantage over Dwight would be a more advanced offensive game. But he doesn't have that...

What are the odds that he ends up a better shot blocker and rebounder than Dwight Howard? Slim. And D12 will still get you 20 pts a game and can go off for 40+ at times...

If you want a younger/cheaper player it would make sense...but Dwights only 26 himself. Bet case scenario Anthony Davis becomes Dwight Howard...so why risk it if he turns out average like Marcus Camby or something...
