I couldn't stand Dwight Howard as a Lakers fan, but I still like the mentality and just earned a ton of respect. Worthiness doesn't have prerequisites because you're worthy right now, period. You have to believe in it and that means letting go of what people think of you.

Some cats are too busy thinking of thinking they'll be worthy when they: lose 20 pounds, make partner, get their degree, win a nobel prize, win a championship, etc.

Think of everything Dwight's been through, if that dude didn't believe in himself he'd be a wreck no matter if he was a basketball player or not. Props to him for that mentality.

Dude was just ran out of Los Angeles and has gotten nothing but hate ever since.

Everyone thought dude was a clown, lame, trying too hard, etc. cats wanted him to change, but I like that he kept doing him. If he truly cared what people thought and changed, there'd be no one more unhappy than himself.

I can understand if you a Lakeshow fan (I am) why you'd be heated. End of the day though I'm not paid to be a fan and I'm sure the Lakeshow front office isn't worried about Dwight anymore and more concerned with getting the franchise back to contention.

Taking a quote out of context and actin like hoes smh. Yall do know these athletes have healthy fukking egos thats exactly why they got to where they are today.

OP said he should say he's a loser, brood, get angry, fukk is this a movie? :pachaha:

Man some of you fox news ass posters really don't have the slightest clue.

Howard played hard throughout the series, especially after he hurt his knee.

:scust: at this thread.

Of course the Lakers contingent up in here posting Kobe gifs and irrationally hating on Howard :mjlol: is that your only way to relevance since yall trash ass squad aint gonna be shyt for years to come?

:stopitslime:

How did he get ran out of LA? :dahell: He left on his own and they begged him to stay. That's the opposite of getting ran out. He pissed off everyone but Lakers fans when he forced his way to LA, then pissed off the last remaining fanbase that cared about him when he forced his way out of LA.

That's not anything he's "been through" that's stuff he forced on himself by being a bytchmade loser.

This. I'm willing to bet 90% of the superstars in any industry are like this as well. They just can't say it in the athletic world because there's an element of winning/losing. Also they know fans will take it the wrong way. End of the day though they know who they are.

I understand Dwight has been criticized for things he's said and done in the past. But most athletes are supremely confident in themselves. He made the WCF which is nothing to sneeze at considering, that no one thought they would get past the Clippers.

Breh didn't want to play in Los Angeles anymore and did him.

Everyone clowned/detested him for it and a lot of cats labeled him. At one point I was one of those people. End of the day I like that dude didn't let people get to him, and still doesn't let people get to him.

Next year Rockets will probably be back to being a play-off team and a large part will be because of Dwight Howard again.

Yea he showed up, just like he did last year against Portland, but do you really feel like dude dominated like he should have. Last year he was basically playing against air going up against Robin Lopez, he put good numbers up but didn't dominate. Same as this year, GSW didn't really have anyone that could contend with him but dude didn't dominate none of those games. He'll never lead a team to a championship, which pretty much fukks the Rockets because to date Harden can't either.
He was 100% the difference maker against the Clippers. He put prime Dwight numbers, with a little less scoring

In the WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS no less?:stopitslime:

The stupidity of some posters here astounds me.

Early exit is a direct quote from the tweet he posted, why you go so hard at the TS for?

Nah DeAndre still ate that series. Can't dominate a series if you aren't dominating your direct competition, and the role players won that series.
