I wasn't old enough to appreciate Prime Wilt, Prime Kareem, Prime Hakeem, Shaq, David Robinson etc

But I was old enough to witness Prime Dwight. He should be in the NBA 75 team. I've never seen a hall of fame center constantly disrespected as much as Dwight has been since 2012

3x DPOY
4x All Defense First Team
5x All NBA First Team
2x Blocks Leader

People forget how much of a force he was in his prime. He brought the Magic to the Finals as the Number 1 Option. The other bigs who've done this on their teams are all Hall Of Famers

I could say more but I'll just post this video. Put respect on his name

Dwight in his prime was a beast, and he was the key to that Orlando team making deepish runs in the playoffs...but he is one of the rare athletes I actually dislike.

Shouldn't have prevented him for being Top 75 though. That narrative was Shaq-driven.

him not making the top 75 list while guys like Damian Lillard and AD made it is BS. He didn’t make it simply because people don’t like him

In this world where Media dominates narrative, having an "Unlikable Personality" means everything unfortunately. If you are not a robot and slave to these Media corporations, they will act like you don't exist

All fukkin facts. These old ass dudes voting for all time list and HOF in the NBA, NFL & MLB do stuff like this because they be in their feelings.

Not just they but he was a huge reason why we won in the bubble.

Not sure how or why he fell outta favor the following season.

What’s wild is there isn’t really anything dislikable about Dwight like that. He’s goofy and corny, but that’s not a reason to have an issue with him. He came in on some Christian shyt and ended up getting on some Nick Cannon shyt, but who can judge when you see some of these hoes? :yeshrug:

Of course there’s the contingent of Kobe stans who are super anti Dwight, but national media outside of LA typically dislikes Kobe as well so not sure about them holding it against Dwight.

He was a monster for Houston in that series they lost to Portland (where Dame hit the three to win it).

At least he was showing up in the playoffs while Harden was pulling a Wesley Snipes disappearing act every postseason.
