it's obvious he wanna go to a team that will let him be the bytch nikka he is with no filter.... he didn't like the critisism that came with being a LA Laker, he thought he'd be able to goof off with no problem.

LA should just let the dude go on and do his thing..... He doesn't have that bright lights championshion pedigree in him anyway, he's a babyboy that needs coddling every now and then....

Dwight is a better player than Brook when playing at his full potential, I'm not debating that.

All I'm saying is for the $5 mil less a season Brook is a better fit for our current team setup, whuch relies heavily on throwing him the ball 18 feet from the hoop and letting him do his thing. Sonething that isnt exactly howards strength, he needs the ball in the paint. Plus lopezs jumper and ft shooting.

That's just my opinion tho :yeshrug:

:manny: i rather have my big man down low defending, rebounding, blocking shots then on the perimeter

i know ur not a fan of reggie evans -but the way brook game is... u need an evans type a side of him
now with dwight -evans has no uses on he floor... so evans can be replaced with a more athletic/scoring PF

I'm fine with Reggie, as long as he's not playing with Wallace. Reggie took steps to make himself competent at scoring open layups. But when we played the 2 of em together for 30 mins a night it made no sense to anyone but PJ.

They need to find an offensive 3 to pair wit Reggie or an offensive 4 to pair with wallace. Billy has teletovic, a potential hump deal, and this boganovic dude to try and fill that hole right now.

Dwight Howard is considering signing with the Golden State Warriors as well as the previously reported Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks and Atlanta Hawks, a source close to the player said Thursday.

According to the source, Howard's main concern involves "what team he feels has the best chance to win championships, has the best team and system around him."

Its not just that, would you want to go to a laker team with a :flabbynsick: 40 year old Nash, a Kobe that might miss half of the season and never be the same, and bytch ass scapegoating D'antoni...................

If D'antoni goes maybe so, but its just negative after negative with the Lakers at the time, not to mention Management is siding with D'antoni and shunning vets like Kobe for whatever reason:manny:

I think Dwight is a bytch ass nikka too, but he deserves not one ounce of hate or criticism if he leaves

Only thing i agree on is the Lakers team as a whole the future isnt very bright Dwight already sees next year is a wash and they aint going anywhere so thats one more wasted year without contending then he has to hope they spend that 2015 cap money wisely and its not like any top 5 players are available

Houston is the better otpion for next year and maybe the future but Dwight is not gonna leave that money on the table thats the reoasn hes staying in LA

But what if Dwight's level is this season now? What if he can't play like the 2010 Dwight anymore?

If his level is 17-12 with rim protection and horrid FT shooting for $20+ million for the next 5 years, and Brook is 20-8 with rim protection and good FT shooting for $15 million, there's not enough difference to make me want to spend that extra 5 million a season IMO.

If I was guaranteed that I would be getting the 2010 Dwight averaging 22-15 with no injury issues then fine, I want him over Brook. But that is far from guaranteed at this point.

Thank You, the gap between Brook and Dwight isn't worth paying dude an extra 5 milly, too many question marks.

The LI
Bill Simmons on what is next for Dwight Howard - Grantland

It's like he read my mind on Dwight, no chance I want to pay this guy 118 million for 5 years instead of Brook who is 3 years 48m left.

Starting to see the big picture now? Even if Howard averages an 18-12, shoots 57 percent and makes half his free throws for the next five years, where am I really going? I don't have a guaranteed contender, that's for sure. Oh, and I'm building around a big guy who isn't a force of nature anymore, doesn't play basketball that artfully, misses half his free throws and doesn't make anyone say the words, "I can't wait to see Dwight Howard play in person tonight."

Would you put him on your "Top 30 Most Entertaining NBA Players" list? I sure wouldn't. This recent Forbes article was fascinating: LeBron James generated $300 million worth of U.S. sneaker sales in 2012, outselling every other NBA star by a 6-to-1 margin. The rest of the top five: Kobe ($50 million), Carmelo ($40 million), Durant ($35 million) and Rose ($25 million). Dwight Howard? He sold $5 million worth of sneakers, the same number as John Wall. Sorry to be harsh, but as a "marketable personality," Dwight Howard just never got there.

this x100. He should stay away from NY (Knicks), Boston, and San Antonio - basically the teams where the fans and media expect things, there's a long history of winning, etc; sure the Knicks don't fit 100% but that's a VERY passionate fan base, the media will kill you, etc.

Warriors, Rockets, Nets etc...all them are teams where he can chill, act a fool, impregnate 5 more women, and win 1-2 playoff series a year without anyone getting upset.
