i could've told you nikkas this shyt 5 years ago

I can't speak for anybody else but I NEVER wanted the dude for any offense. I knew exactly what the Lakers were getting in terms of Dwight's skill. The idea was to put him next to Pau and have their skill sets compliment each other. Offensively run things though and defensively have Dwight do what he does.

What I couldn't have accounted for was Dwight being such a fukking idiot. Dude post game has improved a lot since 2009 but he's still fukking garbage. It wouldn't be so bad except he seems to THINK he's one of the best post players in the league. He stay talking about needing the ball down low being a back to the basket big.

Dwight is by far most effective in the PnR but for whatever reason doesn't want to do that shyt. I still remember that game where him and Nash were yelling at each other because Dwight wasn't doing that shyt the right way.

I don't care what he "was" in 2009, when he got his soul snatched by Pau Gasol, who is an overall better player than him when healthy.

Kerr is right, this dude is NOT a superstar.

I could care less about Howard. But this "shyt on Dwight" movement is a bit silly. And honestly I don't even know where it's actually coming from.

It's almost like every couple of years, the media has to create a villain or a "bad guy" or a the guy who "doesn't get it". And of course because TV, Radio and internet, are our bible, and beacons of truth, most of us just go right with it.

:dead: @ hou thinkin they can get a chip with (mr.run into everyone and not even attmept to make the shot Harden) and d12 as their offensive centerpieces

quite possibly the WOAT shooting/ offensively challenged tandem of "superstars" (there both not) in nba history

2 most overrated players in the nba on the same team as your #1 and 2 option i mean whta could go wrong :heh:

putting this as my sig so i can :russ: when they play well and houston wins 50+ games

So we're just gonna pretend that D12 didn't just play through injuries this season and averaged 20 & 14 the year before?

It doesn't matter because the rockets are already a great offense team. Howards biggest impact will be defensively, even though if he's healthy he makes them more dangerous on offense too. I guess people, forgot about the numbers he was putting up en route to the finals. Also they don't need him to make baskets down the stretch that is what harden is for. Howard led a team with hedo turkgolu as it's best playmaker to the finals, now it's harden. Dwight sure passed the ball well enough on that team for it to have some success so the rockets will still beast.

Nobody is talking about his production. It's obvious he can produce when healthy and engaged, but dudes skill as a post player are laughable.

And all of his struggles weren't even due to injuries, dude wasn't playing hard at times. That's why Kobe, Nash, D'Antoni, Brown and others were calling him out for it. There were moments where you could clearly see he didn't give a fukk.

Stan Van Gundy used to call Dwight out for not showing up to play too. It was the same shyt there, Dwight would complain about not getting touches and put in half assed performances.

Like I said this shyt aint nothing new:

[ame=http://youtu.be/gqBu57JpibI]Dwight Howard Calls out Stan Van Gundy - Game 5 Press Conference - Jalen Rose Comments on ESPN - YouTube[/ame]

Dwight complaining about not getting touches in the post and his coach putting him on blast for not playing hard.

And lets not forget the prophetic words of Jeff Van Gundy:
