Your hate on Ewing is still strong to this day. Even with all of Ewing's failures in New York he is still a much better player than Dwight has ever been to this point.

I agree.

It doesn't matter because the rockets are already a great offense team. Howards biggest impact will be defensively, even though if he's healthy he makes them more dangerous on offense too. I guess people, forgot about the numbers he was putting up en route to the finals. Also they don't need him to make baskets down the stretch that is what harden is for. Howard led a team with hedo turkgolu as it's best playmaker to the finals, now it's harden. Dwight sure passed the ball well enough on that team for it to have some success so the rockets will still beast.
Mini-EtherHe can't have an opinion? He's more qualified to speak on Dwight Howard than you are to speak on Steve Kerr.
Some of you have some awful basketball opinions.
nikka this is almost word for word what Lakers fans were saying when Dwight was traded to the team.
It makes complete sense but the problem is Dwight wants the offense ran though him and if it's not he stops putting in effort on the defensive end. Dwight played with one of the greatest PG's in history at running the PnR and bytched about it the entire time while doing a half assed job at it.
The rockets are far more compatible for dwight, it's not even close. The lakers had no spacing because they had no shooters. The rockets are all about spacing and shooting, and that's without a low post threat, so imagine how good they can be with one. Rockets are more athletic also, even more than the magic teams.

Dwight isn't a low post threat tho. Unless he's using his explosiveness to dunk he's pretty much a liability cuz the last thing the rockets want is dwight at the free throw line.
Yup, the more you go to Dwight the more likely he is to turn the ball over or end up at the line.
Dwight shouldn't even be your 2nd offensive option but he think's he should be the first (and for whatever reason them dumbasses at ESPN agree).
And I'll say it again, Kevin McHale is on borrowed time. McHale is going to expect a lot from Dwight and chew him out when he's not meeting that standard. If that happens expect Dwight to get him pushed out.
Also it's telling that Asik immediately demanded a trade and is refusing to play with Dwight.
