Ive never liked e40s rapping... couldnt stand him over an entire album... but idk how u can say "I hope i dont go back" ISNT a classic as fukk hip hop song (and video for that matter) then u havnt heard it, never gave it a chance, or are so caught up in your bias that u cant admit it... e40 definitely has a few undeniable moments

fukk u and Rasheed Wallace. Wack ass marks listen to shytty nikkas like az and Jeru on the subway

E40 came out nearly 10 years before Snoop

:wow:

:what: E 40 wasn’t dropping shyt in 82/83 even if you count his completely independent selling solely out of the trunk days it was nowhere near 10 years before Snoop. Could maybe push it to 5 but if you’re counting 40s early days then you gotta club Snoops too.

He's sort of coasting at this point in his career but I still enjoy what he puts out. He always has something goofy/interesting to say and the beats sound great in the car. How many 50 year old rappers can you say that about?

Whoa if you like E-40 cool but don't slander 2 other legends to make a point.

With that said, I enjoyed that E-40 and B-Legit collab but I felt it was meant for old heads like myself. I feel like he should slow his output down some and focus on quality over quantity but he still has the skillset.

I'll take the 5 .

40s debut was in 86, with the clicks first tape "Let's Slide". (on thier own record label ?)

Same year salt and pepper & 2 live crew released their debut tape.

Run dmc released their debut tape in 85.

You telling me y'all throw Snoop in there too?
