How the fukk is E-40 unsung?

I'm just waiting for a Michael Jackson & Prince episode since this show has lost the original meaning.

LOL how are Michael Jackson & Prince "unsung"???

Anyway...did Monifah have enough hits to get burn here?
Off top I can think of "I Miss You", "I Still Love You", and "Touch It"...

beat me to this thread but my thread would've been negative.

theyre really lowering the value & prestige of this show now.

all of these names belong on "life after" instead, except maybe howard Hewitt(not up on him like that) and maybe Next & Kelly price later on down the line . I guess they axed the "life after" show and just said "f*ck it. throw all the musicians on Unsung".

I'm a fan of some of these names but

didn't adina howard get one? if she qualifies, monifah definitely does. plus her being on r&b divas prolly got her the inside track.

looking forward to 40 and Next, next had two dope albums, they lowkey really took the whole sex music to a whole other level. RL could sing too. they never get the nostalgic threads cats like dru hill, silk, and shai get.

the lil commercial they got for this season with everybody posing, some of them look like they know they shouldn't be on here.

bring back "life after" and wrap up their stories in 30 minute episodes.:camby:

if this was the lineup for "life after", I would be anticipating all of em. but 60 minute documentaries on Unsung? I'm not even interested in watching now. I'm just gonna support it because I know this is gonna be the lowest rated season, and I don't want the show to get cancelled.

BET is somewhere celebrating. cuz that Tuesday night lineup they just had, trumps this whole season of unsung.

nah. Adina howard had a "life after". and i'd say she had a bigger run than monifah, altho monifah's story is gonna be  and like you said, she has the inside track. that chante moore episode wasn't needed on unsung either.

depending on what you think "unsung" should be, i can see why you say that about chante moore, in any case, i did enjoy it since i never knew her music outside of "wey u" on waiting to exhale and "chante's got a man"...but yea, she doesn't really fit the bill of unsung as she never really mattered lol

fukkIN' KWAME??????????

Yikes.
fukkIN' KWAME??????????

Yikes.

He wrote and produced all of his albums, wrote the raps on Bel Biv Devoe's "Poison", was one of the first fashion risk takers in hip hop, paving the way for ppl like Kanye/Pharrel and set trends, he was very lyrical for his time, and he was able to reinvent himself as a very successful producer post the "your style is played out like Kwame.." Diss...he did "on fire" for Lloyd banks, "turn the lights off" for tweet n Missy Elliot, "switch" for will smith , "listen" for talib kweli and has records on everybody from method man to Christina Aguilera...not to mention he just produced Vivian Greens entire new album ... I think he's more than deserving of an episode.
