my favorite way to play dead space was to turn off all the music in the game and have only the sfx from the game. i could hear the clunking of my footsteps hitting the metal, when a necromorph would break through the ceiling i'd be like sometimes i'd throw on some pink floyd in the background while i was shyt was amazing.

Only time i ever got shook about a game was when i was maybe 13/14 or something. I was playing Manhunt.

So i'm sneaking around snuffing people with plastic bags, that shyt was just too intense for me, had my heartbeat going like i was sprinting, i wasn't built for it back then, had to give it up.



But those were the days before i could watch people brutally murdering people on the internet while happily eating a sandwich. So maybe i should give it another shot.

I wonder this too. Games industry seems to be in rut creatively,but you wonder if its because thats what people want.

the funniest thing is that nowadays ANYONE can see EXACTLY what the fukk theyre buying...youtube previews, e3 HD videos, etc....

back then you would only see tiiny ass screenshots in a magazine and hear word of mouth about the game....thats it. now you can fukking watch the whole game walkthrough on youtube.

I swear this generation has fukking brain damage. everything is too scary and hard for them. games have been dumbing down so much lately

and dead space while being relatively scary still isnt the scariest the game ever by any fukking means. playing aliens vs predator 2 as a marine was more scary
