I wonder what this means for Jalen Hurts and the QB position in general.

New coach may want his own guy.

I think they didn't want to admit they made a mistake giving all that $$$$$ to Wentz. Pederson might have wanted to go to Hurts permanently. Pretty sure the new guy they bring in will have Wentz as QB1 week 1 2021

Bill Cowher was allowed to be average for years before he got his first SB, why you wanna see the black man fired :mjpls:

I dont but this is the part of the job where growth has become stagant. Like how marvin lewis was in cincy. The team wasnt growing, he wasnt growing, staff not growing. Just year in and out same results

Same thing with Garrett in dallas.

A coach can overstay the welcome. Hell anybody can be on one job for too long

He caught lightening in a bottle and won the Superbowl and I thought that would have bought him a few more years, but dude was not a good coach in my opinion.

From benching Hurts, sticking with Wentz to long, and a lot of his offensive schemes were questionable as well.

He'll land on his feet somewhere else though, a Superbowl winning coach someone will take a chance on him.

Apparently ownership wanted to bring outsiders to be his coordinators and he wanted to promote from within.
And he got fired for that? :what:
That was only part of it. He lost the locker rom when he benched Hurts in that Washington game.

Again, their white counterparts are allowed to fail, fail & fail again, overstay their welcome as you say and “part ways” when the team has been a failure/average for years. Right after they leave they get a cushy OC/DC job and are up for HC positions a couple years later. Hell it’s already being reported Doug is in play for the Jets HC job.

If these other coaches are allowed that leeway so should the black coaches, but hey, keep perpetuating that notion that black coaches should have shorter rope than their white counterparts :yeshrug:

Yep. You're right. This is about saving Wentz.
