Easily his best album still but the thing about Earl is he is lyrical enough to top it. He just hasn’t yet.

I thought that same shyt as I typed that post. Him and madlib is a no brainer and that just might too this album. As long as he comes in focused and rhyming not like that feet of clay album.

No way, I feel he was more passionate on Doris and more in a pocket. Some Rap Songs felt like the name and I don’t like shyt was very good but not better than Doris to me. Doris feels more like a real body of work.I think I Don't Like Shyt and Some Rap Songs are easily better than Doris, and I loved Doris
You probably can argue he rapped better on some of the songs on the projects you named and wasn’t as monotone but as complete projects (beats and contentwise) Doris has it beat IMO.
