I thought that same shyt as I typed that post. Him and madlib is a no brainer and that just might too this album. As long as he comes in focused and rhyming not like that feet of clay album.

No way, I feel he was more passionate on Doris and more in a pocket. Some Rap Songs felt like the name and I don’t like shyt was very good but not better than Doris to me. Doris feels more like a real body of work.

You probably can argue he rapped better on some of the songs on the projects you named and wasn’t as monotone but as complete projects (beats and contentwise) Doris has it beat IMO.

Dope album. Theres some classic tracks, but not sure if the whole album is.

Honestly I enjoy all his projects but the debut EARL mixtape is my favorite. That goes hard with beats and flows.
