On “EAST” Earl laments losing his girlfriend, his grandmother and father while reflecting on his dependence on alcohol to cope. He does so over an ominous looped accordion sample. The track’s title is likely a reference to the time he spent on the East Coast with MIKE and the [sLUms] collective while producing Some Rap Songs.

El Toro Combo Meal is incredible.
Is that the Alchemist beat?

EAST is garbage but the rest of the songs are dope, this Mach Hommy dude is nice :whew:

Earl don’t care. He still the GOAT though :banderas:

Doris and IDLSIDGO were dope.

This is not bad either, but I don't know what happened between his first 2 and these last 2 projects. Maybe he had a bad acid trip or something. Also he should stop talking about his absent father on every track and find a therapist to talk to about that shyt.
Funny you say this. He has past songs talking about having bad acid trips.

Also Earl’s pops passed, on top of that Mac died.

He should definitely see a therapist though.

I fukks with it, shyt is riddled with Wu-Tang references and he definitely has that RZA flow on some songs.

Reminds me of the Napster days when I first heard demo tapes of all the 90's rappers.

EL TORO COMBO MEAL has been on repeat, smoked that joint.
Never heard of this dude Mavi just released an album while studying neuroscience at Howard :ehh:, apparently his style is inspired by/similar to Earls.

I like how people in here sayin he needs a therapist for talkin about family and friends dying, breakups, etc.

Where is the same energy for these other rap nikkas talkin about killing and taking ridiculous mixtures of drugs tho :mjlol:

Outside of east my main gripe is hearing him reusing lines/set ups he said on SRS :hhh: i understand having multiple angles for a line but don't use em for multiple albums brehski, comes off lazy

The majority of rap nikkas talking about killing never killed anyone a day in their life. :stopitslime: And when they do, they’re bragging about it

Earl been famous since 16 years old and majority of his catalogue is him talking about being depressed which makes him actually believable.

I wish him and Vince would drop a collab project. He admitted Vince killed him on Hive and Wool.

And these don't sound like people who need therapy too? :mjlol: yall nikkas man

Alot of these artists grew up in shyt neighborhoods and are making light of the traumatic shyt that goes on there for money, that's a sicko mindset period.

My point is they both need that same push for therapy but for some reason we normalize their side of the coin and it's dumb
