What's his delivery like on this? A lot of his recent features have been hard getting through because of that drawling misery flow he's been doing

I think it's just the easiest comparison people reach for when praising lyricism, even if it doesn't make much sense like when Waka Flocka called Krit the southern Nas.
That actually made more sense (especially given the context of what Waka was saying) than this West Coast Nas comparison for Earl. I think Earl is boring as shyt and instant NyQuil music, and the reason I haven’t listened to him in years.

I think this is easily Earl best album since I Don't Like shyt, I Don't Go Outside. Very well produced, a lot of variation and Earl's flow matched every beat perfectly. I like how he always perfecting his craft and looking for pockets to catch on the beat when he flowing. It's clear on tracks like SICK! and 2010. Just two completely different flows/sound that go hard as fukk back to back.

I actually like that the tracks are so short, it makes you want to spin the shyt back and take in what he really sayin. This nikka Earl be saying some wild shyt too lmao. You can tell he influenced by Ghost too in Lye when he say "Lemon merengue, Wallabees sole stained gum" lol that shyt cracked me up.

This might be one of Earl more accessible albums IMO - he picked the perfect singles for the album and Guru laced him on the mix. shyt sounds super clean but still has a bit of that grimey dust sound on some joints too (Lye and Tabula Rasa). Features were also short and sweet and killed their spots. I’d easily give this album an 8.5/10. shyt gonna be in heavy rotation for the year
