My moms playing joints like Giving Him Something He Can Feel by En Vogue, Beauty by Dru Hill and This Luv by Donell Jones after getting home from work, late nights.
My papa singing and playing the piano, also having choir practice at the crib (He's a preacher).

Stevie Wonder "I Just Called To Say I Love You". Mom would always sing it to me. R.I.P. :mjcry:
I guess at a party when I was a kid everyone was looking for me...I was like 4.

I ended up being in a bathroom singing a Stevie wonder song from a commercial at the time :mjlol:

^^^ this had me glued to the TV in silence. I was around 3-4 seeing this.

^^^ I remember dancing to this as a toddler. My parents always played old school music.

A Mississippi Cotton Field
earliest musical memories?

Running around singing "Sanctified Lady" as a small small kid (only learned early this year that it was a Marvin Gaye song). It's prolly the first song I can remember being played on the radio a lot.

Staring out the greyhound/amtrack/family member's car or van window like:mjcry: and listening to the AM radio while staring at cornfields nshyt. Mom used to ship me off to places out of state alone.
